Grupo Silvio Santos brings governed AI to 5 companies on AWS

What started as an initiative at Liderança Capitalização became the group's corporate generative AI platform: more than 3,000 users, corporate login, several models in one place, and usage and costs separated by company.

About the client

Grupo Silvio Santos

Grupo Silvio Santos is one of Brazil's best-known business groups, operating across different segments with several business units, among them the holding company, SBT, Liderança Capitalização (Lidercap), Jequiti and TQJ, each with its own needs, users and financial controls. The group's generative AI journey began at Liderança Capitalização and, from that first move, scaled to the other companies.

The challenge

AI fragmented across several companies in the group

Before the project, AI usage happened in a decentralized way across the group's companies, which made governance, consumption control and cost separation by business unit difficult.

AI projects scattered across the group

AI initiatives happened in a dispersed way across areas and companies, with no standardization or centralized governance. It was hard to know what was used, by whom and at which company.

Isolated, fragmented accounts

Language model usage was spread across isolated accounts, with no single entry point, a risk of duplicate contracts and consumption that was hard to manage.

Usage and billing per company

The group's multi-company structure required separating usage and billing by business unit, respecting each company's financial governance, something the decentralized model could not provide.

The solution

Cognis: the group's generative AI in one place

Aquarela deployed Cognis, the group's corporate generative AI platform, based on Aquarela AI Hub and built on Amazon Bedrock. Employees across the five companies access the leading AI models in a single environment, with the corporate login they already use.

01

A single entry point for AI

Cognis replaced isolated accounts and scattered projects with one corporate environment for the leading language models.

02

A structure for each company

Holding, SBT, Lidercap, Jequiti and TQJ have separate spaces on the platform, and each company's consumption is billed to its own AWS account.

03

Several models, corporate login

OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and other models through Amazon Bedrock, with sign-in through the group's corporate directory and traceable usage.

The right model for each task

Users choose, in the same interface, between models from different providers, and new models can be added without restructuring the environment.
Results

A single, multi-company and governed platform

Cognis ended access fragmentation, brought governance over AI initiatives and made it possible to separate usage and billing per company, with traceability by user, company and model.

Centralized and governed access

More than 3,000 users across the five companies use generative AI on a single corporate platform, with stronger governance over AI projects across the group.

Each company with its own usage and cost

Usage separated by company and consumption billed to each company's AWS account, with operational and financial control per business unit.

A foundation ready to grow

Sign-in integrated with the corporate directory simplified access, and the platform is ready to take on new companies and new models.
